My system is a desktop running windows 10 Home Shut down the system unplug both USB keyboard and mouse, start system and let it load to logon screen.
Plug in your keyboard and wait a few seconds then test it by hitting the spacebar. Then plug in your mouse. Here’s what didn’t work: Once I typed in the password and it booted to the desktop, I lost Keyboard function again.
I shut down and started again. At the logon screen I selected Ease of Access with the mouse and noticed that Filter Keys was on so I shut it off and I had keyboard function again.
